5 Must Have Lingerie every Bride should have....

If you ever want to look glam as a Bride, then you must take note of what you wear under because it's as important as the dress itself.  Wedding dresses are usually tight or cumbersome, so you must be careful to buy the following and get the list as soon as he proposes. Here are five lingeries that you must have in your bag...
1. Every Bride must have proper fitted bras, some ladies are always comfy with their regular selection of bras, not knowing that weight loss can cause fluctuation in bra-size, so make sure you get re-measured by your designer and get the right kind of bra for your wedding.
2. Try wearing bustiers for support and shape, the bustiers come down to the tummy and helps the shape. A stylish bustier is appealing to every man.
3. Brides must learn to wear "shapewear" and this is really comfy for brides who are very conscious of their shapes. A "shapewear" is an elastic fabric that doesn't have boning so it offers Brides maximum comfort.
4. Good panties are very necessary, even though you think nobody would see them, yet if your dress is clingy you must be conscious of the panty line. Brides with ball dresses would not need to check their pant line cause it won't show.
5. Not all Brides like the idea of wearing panty hose or even a garter, but for your photo shoots and the weather condition at the time of your wedding, some Brides may want to consider wearing'em, they are also appealing, body-friendly and nice and of course your new husband may just like'em *winks*.

Hey Brides! Read about the different lingeries you need for your wedding...

The Big Day is always the best day in every woman's life, but often times I have seen and talked with many ladies who don't consider their lingerie or undergarment and in choosing this, you should consider comfort and support and you should allow your husband have the "comfort" of the eyes too. So here are some things to consider when choosing your wedding lingerie.
1. Choose the right bra: you don't want to wear anything sagging and loose on your wedding day, so wear a bra that would fit in properly without straps pulling off and hooks pinching your skin.
2. If you have a dress made of light weight fabric then you must create a smooth silhouette. Wear seamless bras in such situations to avoid a see through.
3. Look for backless lingerie if you have a dress without a proper back and you must mind your neckline
4. If you buy your lingerie before the wedding dress, then you should think of getting convertible, adjustable straps and stick to white or nude colours for the day. More to come here. Join us on

Gurls!!!!! Let's talk WEDDING NIGHT LINGERIE!!!!!!!!!

What you wear for your wedding night matters alot........remember the brother is gonna be looking out for the "essential" areas. In planning for your wedding ladies, you must include a budget for your "wedding lingerie". So you must consider the following:
  • Consider your body shape and wear something that fits you right and it should be flattering.
  • It has to be very feminine.
  • Invest in good quality lingerie that would suit your skin eg cotton, silk but NEVER nylon please.
  • One biggest thing to consider is: What does your future husband love to see you wear? how would he perceive you in the lingerie?
To be continued............ feel free to post your comments and suggestions and follow us on:

Is a promise ring the best gift you can give your bestie?

Still on the #promiseringstrend... I heard something nice about the #promiserings thingy this weekend, that Nigerian guys use the promise rings to stall their girlfriends until the economy is stable and of course the fuel prices also cools off and that the Nigerian girls present it to their bestie to show that they'd be friends forever.
Promise rings comes with engravings on it and comes in different shapes, bows, hearts and so on.

What's the significance of a promise ring?

Seems to be trending now #promiserings and annoyingly most ladies who wear it don't know what it symbolizes.
What is a promise ring?
It's a commitment to a relationship, it's a constant reminder or token by a man or woman towards his/her decisions to keep the sanctity of a relationship, for some it's a pre-engagement ring or can be called a commitment ring. Well, whatever you do, be sure not to wear any promise ring for too long to avoid stories that tickle and touch. Be wise Gurls.

Why do couples fix their weddings during festivity periods? part 2

During the Easter break, we had a first part to the series of "why do couples fix their weddings/trad during festivity periods?", and #TeamWeddingGraces have actually done some research on why people choose festivity periods and asides the fact the extended family and friends are around at that time, people also feel that weddings are an investment, so if they fix it at such times, there's every probability that they'd receive more gifts. But speaking with a radio godfather in the Southeast-Supersam, he said people fix during festivity periods try to kill a bird with one stone. Anyway, what say ye to these things? Don't you think it's rather more expensive for the couple in terms of refreshments? You can tell us what you think tho.
